Download driver software for bsnl Evdo data card.Although these drivers come in CD supplied with data card but sometime you loose the cd, you you can download them here. also these are updated version of driver which work nice with vista and windows 7. older version of Evdo driver has trouble working with vista and win 7. these are windows only drivers, for linux you don’t need any drivers.

@Raj all Data card seems to work with Linux provided you have configured package wvdial properly.
An exception i have seen was with Reliance ( an year back ) that required the Linux kernal to be a particular version…

Thank you Gaurish, I got the driver for the 32 bit Windows 7 from the customer care of BSNL after a struggle for over a month. I have visited the BSNL office and the officers were absolutely unhelpful. They are not bothered at all. Useless bunch of characters.
I agree customer Care of BSNL sucks. its more kind of SELF-HELP thing.
PS: Did the driver provided in above post, work for you? If not please send me version you got from BSNL, so others don’t have to struggle so much. Thanks

There is no subsitute of BSNL EV-DO data card for internat user……SAVE your money & time with security
thanks gaurish… Driver you provided on this site for AC8700 800M worked for me… initially i was getting comment like “Device driver software was not successfully installed” for windows 7
after installing this driver it starts detecting EV-DO. in settings i kept EV-DO and phone #777 username: cdma password: cdma keep DNS open. this setting worked for me. downlaod speed is around 200 kbps and upload is around 40 kbps. BSNL tower is at 1 k.m. distant.
painful thing with BSNL is for every query or problem you have to go to BSNL office. even for recharge.
by the way anyone of you know any site for online recharge of EV-DO of BSNL please let me know.
sir i have bsnlevdo prithvi when i connect it to the computer it gives run time error. now i m using it with dial up connection. i m unable to use with its software. please give me from where i can download driver for prithvi bsnlevdo for win 7 64bit.

I am having iMac operating on Mac OS X 10.7.2 Lion,, i am having a BSNL EVDO data card of MicroMax make MMX 300C, I have mailed to Micro Max and they have shown their inability to provide drivers for Mac, I am sure there is a work around this problem, please help me and many others like me to use their otherwise useless investment..
